I tried everything I have referenced, INCLUDING but not limited to removing eggs after 25 days of when I think is the last lay, INCLUDING removing the nest box (She lays on the floor and sits on them), INCLUDING vitamin supplements, etc, etc. They are both dedicated parents and except for breif periods in the evening come out to eat. Am worried about their health!
Health: Cereal Vs. Oatmeal?
Ok so I am kind of stuck here…i posted a similar question yesterday asking for healthy breakfast ideas and I am now comparing the nutrition of cereal and homemade oatmeal. Here is what i have found:
1 cup whole grain cheerios/1 cup honey nut cherrios (with 3/4 cup skim milk) = 308 calories, 57g carbs, 2g fat, and 12 grams protein
3/4 cup old fashioned oats, 2 Tbsp raisins, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 macintosh apple (chopped) = 426 calories, 94g carbs, 4g fat, and 9g protein.
*I switched from cheerios to oatmeal because i thought it would be healthier (more fiber, less sugar) but it looks like I am mistaken? Is there anything I am not seeing or can do to make my breakfast the most healthy and useful? I live a very active lifestyle and can not skimp on my first meal of the day, however I am trying to get into tip-top shape and lose a couple pounds a long the way. Any advice will be great!
What Can I Do To Clear Up My Acne?
I’m almost 16, and I have the worst acne. I’ve been trying to do everything I can, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve been taking a vitamin every day called “Active Teen Health” which is supposed to help. I drink at least 3 water bottles daily, and I’ve been trying to eat healthier. I wash my face with Biore and use Biore’s toner, then I moisturize with Clean & Clear and use their persa-gel. I wash and moisturize my face every morning and night. I clean my sheets often and use clean towels. What else can I do? I’m getting desperate.. lol
What Else Could I Go To Graduate School For If My Undergrad Was In Anthropology?
I got a four year bachelors degree in anthropology. I had switched my major a couple times and the majority of the time I took business courses.
I am not interested in doing a PhD program or having a career of research.
In undergrad I focused on linguistic anthropology. I am not interested in archaeology or cultural theories.
I have been considering getting another bachelors degree in the health field, like nutrition. But I also want to think about my options for graduate school continuing what I had already studied in undergrad. I am very interested in language and linguistics( I do not speak another language fluently but I have studied Japanese and Spanish). I also enjoy teaching or advising.
I would love to find a degree that is very applicable to a career. That’s why I like the idea of getting a degree in nutrition so then I can become a dietician. As far as a liberal arts degree, it’s harder for me to think of something that would be worth it and also easy to find and apply for a job.
Hope all of that helps! lol and Thanks!
What Do I Do To Reverse Symptoms Of Excessive Short Term Use Of Alcohol?
This past week, I was drinking pretty heavily (Swedish Vodka 40%) for two days in a row. The first day, I had about half a glass of vodka with a friend over at my house. The second day, I must have had at least more than half a glass or the same towards the end of the day. When I drink alcohol, I metabolize it extremely fast even though I only weigh 125lb and I’m extremely skinny. I have a drinking habit of just keep drinking when I start to keep my buzz or stay “intoxicated.” I realize it was becoming a problem only because it was affecting my health negatively. I stopped drinking after that second night but I’ve had such terrible withdrawals. Symptoms that won’t go away even though my hangover is passed has been, ‘ My body feels sick & maybe its because all I’ve been eating lately is things like potatoes and white rice, I keep feeling like I’ve been punched in the stomach and I’m getting short of breath a lot, I keep experiencing random body pains all over my body randomly, I just feel really sore. I’m slowly but surely recovering my body but I’ve been trying to find ways to reverse the damage I have done to my body. I wouldn’t say I’m an alcohol addict because I don’t drink every single day, I don’t let it impair my life. Its just when the time does come where I drink, I find myself becoming really addicted to keeping my impaired state and so I over indulge my body with alcohol to the point where it gets me really sick. I think even a few times, this habit caused me to find blood when I went to the bathroom. The first time was because I thought I was sober enough but I still had alcohol in my body and I took one acetaminophen pill. The second time was after dosing myself with vodka for a very prolonged period without stopping to break. What I did was unacceptable but I’m glad I recognized it was a problem and decided to do something about it before it ran away and got out of hand.
Tomorrow I’m going to the vitamin store to pick up a couple things for my liver health. Thiamin, Vitamin B6, Milk Thistle. If any of you guys have any serious detox methods or advance on addressing self binge drinking, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks much.
Why Do People Think Getting Colds Means You Have Bad Health?
I’m in top shape because I go to the gym and exercise all the time and take heaps of vitamins I must also have a strong immune system because it never takes me more than 3 days to get rid of a cold plus I have never had the flue not once nor have I ever been ill with anything other than a cold. I just seem to be a target for colds. So all this about I must have a poor diet or I don’t exercise or get enough vitamins is wrong so why do people keep saying why don’t people realise that some of us are just prone to getting colds ?
What Can I Do With A Biology Degree?
I have my associates in business administration and am currently getting my undergrad degree in Finance with a minor in accounting. I have a year left with this and will finish it out but I honestly have no passion for it whatsoever.
I do however have a passion for exercise, staying in the best shape I can be in, good nutrition, how the human body works, keeping update with health related news and other medical related news. With all that being said I have been thinking of going for another undergrad degree in Biology or some other kind of scientific/technical field.
Now if I go for another undergrad degree in Biology what would my career possibilities be with it and what could I go into after it? Thanks
What Are The Benefits Of Swimming Twice A Day?
My usa swimming coach from club suggested me to swim twice a day, 6-7 days a week until I get out of my transfer college in two years. Starting in two weeks after high school season. He said that distances can vary at 7-12K a day.
Is this a wise decision? I definitely would love to swim that much everyday regardless of any benefits, I just really enjoy it as well as watching constant improvements.
My recovery habits outside the pool are great, I am very strict on nutrition, drink lots of water, get lots of sun, and sleep 9 hours a night regularly. I’ve been swimming fairly consistently on average 5 times a week for two years. Although before that, I’ve never jumped into a swimming pool or done any regular exercise.
If you have any knowledge on swimming that frequently/regularly please let me know. I am looking for knowing possible health benefits and various swimming improvements over time that can be accomplished.

Is Smoking Weed Out Of A Water Bottle Bad?
About once or twice a week, I smoke out of a vitamin water bottle when I smoke weed. The bottle consists of,
1. A vitamin water bottle
2. A hole in the top of the bottle where I then put a tin piece in the hole (I push it down in) then I poke holes in the tin, and tape it down for security. Then I put the weed in and smoke it.
3. I then properly dispose of the tin piece and Then use a new one every time.
P.S. I smoke good weed. Like headies.(:
I know smokings bad for me (and I’m trying to quit) but I want to know if the aluminum foil is bad for my health!!!
THANKS!!!(:
